The image in this post goes by the informal name of “The Bean”. It’s a large public sculpture in Chicago and when I visited Chicago for the first time in summer of 2013 for the National Dramatists Guild conference. I went to see it at night. It was a magnet for all sorts of people who would take photos of themselves and the skyline in its reflective surface. In a way, it functioned as a kind of public fountain.
This photo was part of many sample posts provided by the Theme Designers so the photo credit belongs to them… I trashed or made private all of them except this one because I liked the photo. Of course, it has absolutely nothing to do with the movie “All Things Chicken” other than a example of chance beauty that changes how we endure during the “stuck” times in our lives.
